What is a focal point?
By definition, a focal point is a central or principal point of focus. We use this term to refer to our small stickers that can be placed on your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or other device as a reminder of your goals/focus, a camera cover for privacy protection or as decoration.
How do I use focal point stickers?
For privacy protection, place focal points over the camera area on your device. When you want to use the camera, simply move the focal point to side and move back over camera when done. If using as a goal reminder and/or decoration place them anywhere next to the camera area. Feel free to be creative and stick them on other areas around your device. You’re also more than welcome to express yourself by using more than one on the same device! Each design can be taken literally or assigned a unique meaning by its owner.
Will focal points leave a sticky residue?
Absolutely not! Our stickers contain no glue and will never leave any kind of residue behind. They stick to your device using static cling. Therefore, they can be easily be removed, re-positioned, and reused over and over.
Will focal points stick on any device?
Focal points are designed to stick on many devices. Due to the nature of static cling, the surface must be smooth and non-porous. They will stick best to glass, but they can also stick to smooth, non-porous metal and plastic surfaces. If the area where you want to place your focal point has a porous metal or plastic surface they will not stick. However, we will be offering other products to address this in the near future. Will my focal point lose its cling if I move it around a lot?
You should be able to move your focal point around hundreds of times without worrying about losing its “stickiness”. Please make sure to clean the surface where you place the sticker as dirt/dust can interfere with how well it sticks to the device.
What size are they? Will they be too big for my device?
Currently, our focal points come in two different sizes. Large(approx. .5 inch or 1.3cm diameter) designed for desktops/laptops/tablets and Small(approx. .375 inch or 1cm diameter) designed for smartphones/tablets etc. These two sizes will fit most devices, however, please check your device to make sure it will have the fit you desire.
How many stickers come in one pack?
Each pack of focal points consists of 12 stickers in total. 4 large stickers(for desktops/laptops/tablets) and 8 small stickers(for smartphones, tablets, etc). The types of devices used for each size are only suggestions. Feel free to use whichever size you think will work best for your particular device.
How many different styles/colors do they come in?
Currently, there are 22 different styles of focal points. There are 11 styles with black backgrounds, 9 styles with white backgrounds, and 2 styles with color backgrounds. The black background stickers are designed to blend in with black device surfaces and the white backgrounds for white device surfaces. But of course, there’s no rule you can’t mix and match!
Do you have solid color focal points without designs?
Yes. For those of you who like to keep it simple and/or discreet, we have 2 plain solid color focal points, Black and White. They will blend in with your device so no one even knows you have them.
